Elementallis is a top-down adventure focused on exploration and puzzle solving. It's inpired by the classics from Gameboy. Makes heavy use of the elements (fire, water, wind, earth...) to interact with the environment and help with combat.
Development on Elementallis started in late 2019 by Iván Ruiz Lozano, a solo indie developer. It was intended as a passion project and a way to play a "classic" game like the ones I played years ago but in a more modern way. Thanks to some savings, I was able to work full time on the game and also hire some freelancer work for the art and the music.
- Use the elements: Each temple in the game will grant the player a new element to use. Burn with fire, freeze with ice, dash with wind... Each element gives new abilities to recontextualize combat and puzzles.
- Solve puzzles: The environment is full of puzzles and secrets that allow the player to progress in their adventure.
- Real time combat: Armed with your sword and shield, and with the help of the elements, the player will face a variety of enemies and bosses in real time combat. Strategy and skill will be rewarded.
- Exploration: Each biome will include a temple in theme with the element. Forest, volcano, howling cliffs, the sea... all available and diverse to explore.
